Corrective Exercise Specialist / Fascial Stretch Therapist
Rachel believes that the strongest foundation for healing and growth includes a collaborative and proactive approach: physical exercise, nutrition, mental health, and lifestyle balance are all vital to overall wellness.
With 11 years of experience as a personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist, Rachel has a demonstrated history in the health, wellness and fitness industry. Her career has mainly been spent in multidisciplinary clinical environments between Toronto, Canada and London, UK, addressing postural imbalances, lower back pain, musculoskeletal/orthopedic rehabilitation, and returning clients to pain-free function.
Her education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in exercise science, a diploma in holistic nutrition, and, more recently, she has become one of only a handful of people in the UK to acquire certification in the unique modality of Fascial Stretch Therapy.
Having had her fair share of sporting injuries over the years (competing in sports such as equestrian, rugby union, basketball, and lacrosse), Rachel uses her own experiences to understand and connect with clients who may be struggling with pain or injuries. She strives to equip as many people as she can with the tools they need to feel confident and in control of their own health.
